Shiba Stooges

Sigh all the boys are full grown now with personalities of their own. Shadow is getting smarter and learning new tricks on a daily basis. He listens and waits when offered food/treat and won’t take it unless he is told that it is ok. Sonic is calmer now, he apparently likes to sit on chairs and hangout with us. Zero is learning to following us, he is still shy and jumpy and we are still working on that with him. He has learned to sit but that is about it. We have been too busy to teach him. He spends most of his days sleeping. I have the week off from school so I am going to bring Zero home from my apartment so he can see his brothers and run around. I am also hoping to get him bathed and brush while I am home. Our new groomer is awsome. I am kind of bummed cause I lost my phone a couple weeks ago and there were cute pictures of the boys in the phone that I didn’t get a chance to backup. I will post updated pictures of the boys soon. My new phone is coming in so I will be able to do it faster and easier.

Another day in the Life of a Shiba

Its been a while since I have updated this page and I am going to make an effort to update it more. Haha I say this all the time but I’m so lazy. Well recently Daddy cut his hand and instead of making him feel better, Sonic decided to bite on it. Sonic finally went to the new groomers today and he came out really happy. Ever since Petsmart cut his nails wrong and they bleed, he hasn’t liked anyone touching his paws in any way. He would get aggressive and try to attack. We picked this new groomer from a friend’s recommendation. The place is really small and looks really beat up on the outside, you wouldn’t know it was there. But inside it was really nice and clean and didn’t smell at all. When we got there, Sonic refused to go insided so I had to push him. The place is run by this little Japanese lady and her family and she was there to greet us when we showed up. We told her about what happened to Sonic and told her to be careful about him. She came out and said hi to him then whispered something to him and pick him up and he wasn’t bothered by her. When we came back to pick him up, they let him lose and was running around inside while they went to get the leash. He was so happy. He had a really good experience at this groomer and I am really happy. We are going to take Shadow there soon but it is raining and he spends a lot of time outside so we have to wait.

I forgot to mention but Zero turned one years old in late September and Shadow celebrated his second birthday in mid-October.
